Hardy Bros. was founded in 1950 as a partnership between Lol and Reg Hardy. Together they developed a successful Building & Contracting business situated in Tealby, a village located in the Wolds, Lincolnshire. Working mostly in Tealby and the surrounding area, Hardy Bros. developed a reputation for honesty, reliability and customer satisfaction.
After Reg’s premature death in 1967, Lol ran the business by himself until his son Miles became a partner in 1981 having trained as a Quantity Surveyor at Nottingham Trent University. During this period, Hardy Bros.’ reputation for quality craftsmanship was maintained and extended into conservation work.
With Lol’s retirement, Nigel Richardson became a partner in the firm before the business was incorporated in 2003 to become Hardy Bros. (Tealby) Limited.
